Day 1 – Delhi to Milan – 17 May 2025
It was an early morning start for a 9 AM Etihad flight to Milan via Abu Dhabi. An uneventful, comfortable flight followed by a 3-hour layover and then the 6-hour flight to Milan. A non-fussy and quick immigration check at Milan and we were through.
Managed to meet Rakhee and Gyan at the Milan airport as they were heading to board their flight to India.
We took the train to Milano Centrale-the city centre. It is an impressive building, a mix of Art Nouveau and Art Deco style, that houses the huge train station.
The Airbnb was less than a km away, so we decided to walk it—and decided to drag our bags – that set the tone for our trip hence forth! The distance became longer as the weight of the suitcase became more! Reached the Airbnb on the 3rd Floor Via Gallarate, 311, Milan, Lombardia 20151, Italy.
The guys had their drinks, dinner was the packed parathas brought by Meenu and then we all crashed off!
